Beach Trip!

We went back to the beach one more time in September. It was nice to get out of town for a few days. :)

There's a great little playground down at the Hammock Shops in Pawleys Island. We took the kids down to play a couple of mornings. It was a small enough playground that we could easily keep them contained but enough variety that we didn't get bored easily.

The boys discovered the hall closet on this trip and very much enjoyed playing with the beach hats! :)

We went out to the beach a few times, but it was a little windy. We've had lots of beach fun already this summer so it wasn't too disappointing. We played for a while but the wind just made it a little unpleasant so we didn't stay for long.

After breakfast one morning, we went over to the Litchfield Inn and tried to get a family picture. We managed to snap a decent one with Grammy and Poppa but the boys were having none of that with Mom and Dad. ;)

We had promised Lucy that we would take her back to the rides at Broadway at the Beach. She was so excited that she asked about it every day. :) We went and had the best time! All three kids LOVED the rides and kept begging to go again and again. I think they would have stayed all evening if we hadn't needed to leave for dinner. Here are a "few" pictures from our fun at the rides.

Lucy became friends with this little girl on the plane ride. They talked through the whole thing and then went and rode several more rides together. As they walked from ride to ride, they were holding hands as they talked - it was So cute! Lucy was so sad when she had to leave her new friend for the evening.
