Day 7 ( A Day late!)

Oops - sorry. I got busy addressing Christmas cards last night and forgot to put pictures up. Yesterday's Advent word was "Ready."

We are getting "ready" by adding a new item to our Advent calendar every night. All of the kids really seem to enjoy it. Everyone gets to take turns putting the new ones up. I wasn't sure that the boys would pay that much attention to it, but they enjoy pulling out the day's item and stare intently at it as it plays "Silent Night" after you press the star.

Yesterday was Lucy's friend Claire's birthday party at High Point Gymnastics. Lucy said she had a good time at the birthday party, but that she didn't like gymnastics - the tumbling part. I guess we won't be signing her up for that! These pictures were taken during dinner last night at Grammy and Poppa's - Alex is showing his excited face!
