Charlie and Alex are getting so big! They are really enjoying more playtime these days and it's fun to watch. They are working really hard on sitting up on their own - they last for a few seconds but then fall over whenever they lean one way of the other. It won't be long though! They also seem to enjoy their tummy time and are starting to rock up on their knees - Mommy is not ready for these boys to crawl yet!

Charlie and his burpcloth "hat"
They both like to sit up with the boppy pillows and talk to each other
I went to the Wee Trade sale last week and got some cute clothes for everyone for summer time. I also picked up another exersaucer for the boys. They have enjoyed being up and looking around. The exersaucers keep moving closer and closer together too - I guess they want to play together!
Alex having fun
Charlie loves playtime
You probably can notice from the pictures of Alex that his face seems really red. We took him to the pediatrician this week because it just kept getting worse. He has been scratching at it and no amount of lotion seemed to be helping it get better. His doctor diagnosed him with a staph infection and gave him an antibiotic as well as two strong creams. Thankfully, he is looking much better and acting more like himself. It hasn't gone away completely but seems to be much more under control.
Today for church, the boys dressed like Daddy with SWEATER VESTS! (THanks, Uncle Day Day!) They looked SO cute!
So of course, Daddy got to wear one as well!
Lucy insisted that Pig be included in this picture
It was such a nice afternoon that we strolled down to church for choir practice this afternoon. I did put the boys hats on though. ;)
In other news, the boys just aren't into eating solid foods. They seem to be over the newness of it and would just prefer we don't mess with it. Sigh. . . oh well, we'll get there eventually. Here is their "squash" faces. . . you can tell it wasn't a favorite!
Lucy loves the daffodils that have bloomed right outside our door. She talks about them EVERY TIME she passes them. .. so I took her picture! ;)
We're also working really hard on getting the boys into a regular naptime pattern. They fight their naps so much. However, they're doing a little better which definitely helps make the days a little easier!
Alex likes for it to be dark when he sleeps. . .so this is what he does!
All the boys getting a little snooze. . .
So that's life around here.. . busy, busy, busy!
