Dance pictures!

Lucy had dance pictures today so we had to get her all dolled up in her tap and ballet costumes, complete with hair in bun and, *gasp*, makeup! She was so excited to get to wear makeup just like a big girl! And I could hardly believe how grown up she looks! Where did my sweet little baby girl go?? How did she turn into this beautiful young lady overnight?? Hope you enjoy these pictures we snapped of her before we went to let the professional take some photos!

It always takes Lucy a little bit to warm up to the camera. . .

That's better!

Sorry about the shadows!

This one is so blurry because she was running back inside but she was just so cute, I had to take a picture! :)

Water gun fights

When the kids and I go to Target, we always have to stop at the Dollar Stop. Today we found that they had water guns. After picking out a color for each of them, they were so excited to go home and try them out! Here are a few pictures from our fun!!

I was afraid they wouldn't figure it out quickly, but no worries!! They had it down after one demonstration!

Charlie had to finish his drink before he was ready to commit to playing!

Seriously!! Beautiful girl, please stop growing up so fast!!! Mommy wants you to be little forever!!

Rosa's first birthday

On Monday, we celebrated Rosa's first birthday at Gramma's house. The boys were so excited to go play with the water table and pool that they had to put their bathing suits on as soon as they woke up from nap. They jumped right in to play with the birthday girl.

Lucy, of course, immediately found Harper!

Birthday girl!

Charlie was so excited about water balloons!

Gramma and Pappy had a slip and slide for everyone to enjoy. Lucy had a good time trying to figure it out.

Alex wanted a little push . . .

Rosa enjoyed splashing at the end

Charlie just wanted to stand in the spray of water. :)

More water balloon fun !

Lucy had so much fun throwing them at Uncle Joe. .. I think he had fun getting hit by them as well!

After our time outside, everyone came in and got changed. We didn't have long to wait until dinner, but nothing keeps these boys entertained more than a little screen time on Gramma and Pappy's phones!

We had a delicious meal all together. Poor Rosa was falling asleep during dinner so we quickly did her cake for her. I wish I had a picture, but I wasn't at a good angle while she ate it. She seemed to enjoy it though. And of course, my little ones enjoyed their "Pappy Cakes!"

These little boys love party hats . . . even if they're pink!

Strawberry Picking

On Saturday we went with Gramma, Pappy, Uncle Joe, Aunt Lauren, Harper and Rosa to Ingram's farm to go strawberry picking. I have to admit when this idea was first suggested, I was very skeptical. After all, two two-year-old boys and plants? I just didn't think it was going to hold their attention. I was, thankfully, wrong! They had the BEST time!!!

While we waited for the Houts to arrive, we got to feed the goats. Charlie thought this was the greatest thing in the world. . .

Alex and Lucy enjoyed themselves too.

Charlie, however, just couldn't get enough!

After feeding the goats, everyone got their bucket and got on the tractor to ride out to pick some strawberries!

Like I said, we had a great time!! :)
