Thanksgiving Fun

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week! SO much good food!!! On Wednesday we went to the Flacks and had lots of great food and cousin fun. I took my camera, but we never took it out!! Then on Thursday, we went over to the Alexanders and had more good food and fun. Grammy and Poppa bought a blow up (the kids told them they needed one!) and so we got a picture for their Christmas card.

While we were out there, we snapped a four generation picture.

I made chocolate chess pies for Thanksgiving and Lucy has discovered her new favorite dessert. :) (No, she didn't eat this whole pie. . .I was just letting her eat the last piece!)

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We had a fun day and the kids had been waiting ALL MONTH to wear their costumes. Alex was Chase and Charlie was Marshall from Paw Patrol and Lucy was Lippy Lips, a Shopkins!

After school, everyone got their costumes on and we headed over to Mrs. Sylvia's and Mr. Lester's house. We were going to Trick or Trunk at Grammy's church that evening, but the kids really enjoyed getting to do the traditional "Trick or Treat" thing.

The kids love Lester and Sylvia!!

We went and met Gramma and Pappy for dinner at Carter Brothers and then Gramma had some treats for everyone out in the car!

After dinner, we went over to Lebanon and went from car to car. The kids came home with buckets full! How will we ever eat all this candy!!??

Halloween was so much fun, but I'm so glad it's over!!!!

Kathleen's wedding

Kathleen and John got married this past weekend and we headed down to Davidson to see them. The wedding was so nice and the kids had so much fun at the wedding reception. During cocktail hour, they had fun climbing on the rocks on the wall!

We tried to get a picture with Great Daddy and all his little ones. . . this was the best we could do!!

At dinner, I wanted to take a picture of Charlie because he was just so cute. . . he wouldn't let me though! ;)

We grabbed a quick picture of the kids with Grammy and Poppa too!

We ate dinner and then after the toasts, it was time to dance. The kids had fun out on the dance floor and Charlie loved all the different lights they had. The music started to get a little loud for them, so we went outside and danced in the grass. It started to get late, and even though the party was still going, we had to head home so we would be ready for church the next day. There were some tired boys and girls in the car on our way home!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

The other week we went over to Maple Springs UMC to watch Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. It was lots of fun! I think the kids had more fun just playing with the pumpkins than watching the movie!

And this is how the boys watched the movie. . . they are just too cute!
