Easter Fun!

Easter morning started very early!! Michael had to be at church by 7 and we had to be at church by 7:30. I don't even have decent pictures of the kids and their easter baskets because we got to look at them and then run out the door! I think the Easter bunny may come on Saturday before Easter next year. . .

We had a great church service, followed by a yummy breakfast. After breakfast, Concord has an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. It was a chilly morning, so we put on our jackets and got ready to go outside!

Since church started early, it finished early as well! We were back home by 9:45!! Michael was still at Union, so we put in our new Toy Story movie and played with Toy Story toys until Michael got back. We had lunch reservations but before we went, I thought I would try and get some pictures of everyone in their Easter clothes. Last year, I got absolutely no decent pictures, so I wasn't expecting much. . . but I got these cute ones!! :)

Since they were in such a good picture-taking mood, we decided to get some with Daddy!

And with me!

I thought I would be pushing my luck with this, but we asked the boys to sit down and smile for the camera and I got this adorableness. I can hardly stand the cuteness!!!

Lucy and I got a "just girls" picture :)

Charlie decided to take a picture with Daddy. . .

And then Lucy wanted one!

I thought we'd try one with Alex. .. . but he made it clear he was finished with pictures. :)

So we had a little playtime before we went to eat!

We had a nice lunch together and then came home. Lucy and I went to see Cinderella later in the afternoon - it was so good! What a wonderful Easter we had!

Easter fun at Gramma and Pappy's house

Last Saturday, we went over to Gramma and Pappy's house to have an Easter Egg hunt and have dinner together. When we got their, Aunt Lauren had face paint! :) Harper had a pink bunny and Lucy wanted a butterfly, of course!

We tried to get a picture of the girls together . . .this was the best we could do!

After face painting fun, it was time to go hunt eggs! Everyone got their basket and was ready to head outside.

Alex was excited!

Charlie needed a little help. He would find one egg and then just want to open it and ignore all the others. Gramma helped keep him focused on finding some more eggs. :)

He opened one egg and found an army man which he thought was the greatest toy in the world.

And he wanted to show everybody!

Did I mention that he liked his army man???

Alex found raisins in one of his eggs. . . so it was time to stop and have a snack!

We came back in after we found all our eggs to open them up to see our surprises. :)

We had a nice dinner together and played for a while. The boys were quite dirty and needed a bath. We hadn't planned on taking a bath at Gramma's so we had to get some of Lucy's old PJs for the boys to wear. I still think they look cute, even if their are in pink fairy pajamas. . .

Playing Outside

We have had some beautiful weather and have tried to get outside and play as much as possible. :)

The boys got this toy for Christmas and so we decided to put it together and play. As you can see, it was a great success!!

Another favorite activity was having Daddy spin us!!

Daddy and his princess

Alex just wanted to make silly faces

And Charlie was too busy playing!!

We also had lots of fun driving. . .

Lucy rode her bike all around.

The boys have a new favorite game - they like to drive their cars up to the top of the driveway, turn them around, pick up their feet and fly down to the bottom.

One time they drove into each other and laughed for almost five minutes straight!

We went up and climbed around in the front yard for a while too.

After a fun afternoon outside, we came in and crashed on the couch. :)
