Back into a routine

School is well underway and we have settled into a sort of routine. Life is busy and it seems like we never have enough time to get it all done. (Except for when the boys are throwing a tantrum, and then time stands still!) Lucy is loving school and comes home every day in a good mood. She's had all smiley faces for her behavior chart, so that's a good sign! Of course, when you ask her about her day, she doesn't always seem to remember much . . . Michael and I have learned to ask a lot of leading questions to try to pull any kind of information out of her!

We try to have some outside playtime so that everyone can burn off some energy before dinner time. Here are a couple of pictures from some of our recent fun.

Charlie - when did this sweet boy start looking so big??

Lucy had the guys help her put "gas" in the car before they drove it around. They all sat there and tore up leaves and put it into the gas cap on the cozy coupe . . . they had the best time together!

Anytime Charlie walked somewhere while we were playing, he held his hands like this! So cute!

We tried to get a picture of the three of them together before we went in that day .  . . obviously, we weren't too successful!

One of the kids' favorite games right now is to pretend to be a cat. They will put on their ears and crawl around, meowing. :)

Another favorite game is "Ring around the Rosy." As you can imagine, the falling down is everyone's favorite part!

Lucy has wanted her brothers to come and play in her room quite often lately. We don't let the boys go in her room unless they are invited to play. But these guys love their big sister and are so excited anytime they get to play with her things.  Alex is a big fan of dress up. He walks around in her dress up heels better than most grown women! ;)

The Princess of everything :)

Playing together (And yes, Alex has now added the Elsa dress to his ensemble!)

Charlie is fascinated by the doctor kit. . . . well, all things Doc McStuffins really. :)
