More Snow!!

So our great "snow" from Winter Storm Jonas seemed to be more ice and frozen stuff than snow, but that didn't stop us from getting out and playing a little. It wasn't good snow for making snowballs or building a snowman, so we had to improvise.

Grammy and Poppa dug out the beach toys which are just as much fun to play with in the snow.

Michael forgot his hat at our house so he borrowed one of Lucy's! :)

At first glance, it almost looks like Darth Vader is out playing in the snow!

And just like at the beach, we played our favorite game where Poppa builds some towers . ..

And then we stomp on them!!

We weren't able to build a real snowman, but Charlie really enjoyed making his baby snowman with Crunch Berries and a baby carrot for a nose.

Snow!

We've had some snow this week!!! On Sunday, we woke up to snow falling. On Saturday night, Lucy wore her pajamas inside out and backwards, slept with a spoon under her pillow and flushed three ice cubes in the toilet. When she woke up the next morning, she was convinced that she was the reason for the snow! :) It was beautiful as we were going into church on Sunday.

The boys were so excited to get to wear their snow boots! Of course, by the time we got out of church, the snow was gone. But that didn't stop them from wearing their boots the rest of the day! :)

Then, we had a little more snow this afternoon. Before Lucy went to her play rehearsal, we went outside and played for a few minutes.

Lucy tried to make a few snowballs . . .

Charlie wanted to eat the snow . . .

There wasn't much snow but Lucy managed to make a snow angel.

And now there is more snow on the way for the weekend! It sounds like it will be a pretty good one . . hopefully though it will be more snow than ice!!
