Lucy's Thanksgiving Program

Lucy had her Thanksgiving program at school today. The preschool sang first and did several songs about Pilgrims, Indians, and Turkeys.

Lucy was excited to see us :)

It was a typical performance for preschoolers. . . Some were singing, some were crying, some were in their own little world.  There was a group of 4 year olds on the end who were singing all the songs loudly - but they were about 5 seconds faster than the rest of the group.

In the picture below, notice the little girl in the orange dress. Her Daddy knocked into the boys' stroller, waking them up (and no notice or apology from him!) in order to videotape his daughter do this exact same facial expression for the entire program. We're so glad he didn't miss that. I know how important it is to have these memories of your children, but a little courtesy would be nice. After all, everyone in that room was there to see a child in the program.

After the preschool part, the elementary classes each sang a song and then a group of middle schoolers did a "skit."  Michael's face pretty much sums up the rest of the program. . .

The boys had some good playtime this evening so we pulled out the camera to catch some smiles. Charlie and Uncle Day Day had a long conversation. . .
