They have grown quite a lot, haven't they! The first picture was taken at about 2 months old and the second one was taken yesterday ( 8 months). Alex is in the yellow outfit and Charlie is in the orange. The first one is newborn size and the second one is 6-9 months.

Fun times
Not much to share. . . just some pictures from playing at home yesterday!
Charlie has discovered the piano!
Two boys can play with this!
So happy!
Figuring out how everything works!
Lucy is finally figuring out how to pedal her tricycle forward. . .
After about five minutes, she announced that it was too much work - now she wanted to do something "fun."
Posing with the flowers at church
We went back home and blew bubbles instead :)
Lucy has also discovered the art of taking photos on Mommy's phone . . .here are her favorites from the day.

8 months old . . . five days late . . .
The boys ended up dressed in the same outfits today. . . due to the need for multiple outfit changes this morning! And this afternoon, everyone was in a pleasant mood so I wanted to grab a quick 8 month picture. I don't think I managed to get a seven month one - oh well!
Obviously, from Alex's overalls you can tell that we are drooling quite a bit! ;) There are no teeth yet, but hopefully soon! Maybe that will explain why they haven't been sleeping well this week!
I also tried to get a picture of just the two of them. This was the best we could do - at least they were having a good time!
Overnight, the boys have turned into champion sitters! That is so exciting since it offers a new way to view things.
This picture cracks me up because I think it depicts my three children's personalities. Charlie is, of course, looking at the camera and making sure someone is paying attention to him. Alex is focused on what he wants to play with and not worrying about anyone else And then Lucy is dancing to her own music! ;)
This isn't the best picture, but it shows you how close these boys are to crawling. Just over the weekend, they have been pushing up onto all fours and rocking back and forth. Alex has propelled himself forward a couple of times and is pretty good at moving backwards. Charlie is an expert at twirling all around to get to where he wants to go. We are in for trouble here soon! They are ready to go, go, go!!

Look at this big boy!!! He's ready to go!!

Bathtime
The Easter Bunny brought the boys a Seal tub. . . just like Lucy's duck tub that she loved so much. The boys tolerated it, but I think they missed splashing in the big bath tub. This was a lot easier on Mommy though!
Charlie and the Seal
"Mom, I thought this was bathtime . . why are you taking pictures?"
Alex, checking out the seal
What is this thing in the bathtub?
Picnic at the Park
Since the weather has been so nice, we decided we would all head out today to have a picnic at the park. There is a park in the next little "town" from Weaverville that I have wanted to take Lucy to visit and we had a great time! Everyone had a sandwich, chips, and a dessert and even the boys chewed on their sippy cups while we ate. Then it was time to play!!
This park's equipment was made to look like castles, which Lucy loved. I wish I had a good picture of the whole thing, but it was really cute. Most of these pictures were taken while holding a wiggly little boy . . .so they aren't the greatest. . .
We had a lot of fun but left before anyone got too tired. We also didn't want the boys to be out in the sun too much with all of the medicated creams they have right now either. We came back to the house and all three children took a 2 hour nap. We may just have to make this a regular Saturday activity! :)

This is Lucy shouting "No Pictures!" at me . . .
She liked the "store" window
They had music to play too
No castle playground is complete without a dragon!
Crawling through the lion's mouth is fun!
Charlie and Alex even got to slide a little!
The boys are sitting up really well now. They enjoyed sitting in the grass . . .that lasted for about two minutes. After that, we had to pick them up because they discovered that you could pick things up off the ground and put them in your mouth!
We even tried out the swings - don't let the monkey on the outfit confuse you . . this is Charlie. ;)

Harper's First Birthday!
We traveled to the Piedmont this past weekend to celebrate my niece, Harper's, first birthday. Lucy was SOO excited to get to go see her cousin!
Happy first birthday, Harper!! We had such a good time at your party and can't wait to see you again soon!!!
Birthday girl
Lucy loves to make Harper laugh
The Thrifts were there too! Charlie had a good time with Jen. :)
Charlie also had fun helping Pappy take pictures ;)
There was also lots of dress up stuff to play with. . which a certain little girl loved!
This picture makes me laugh because of all the cousin "helpers" as Harper opened her gifts. I imagine if Charlie and Alex had been old enough, they would have been right in there with everyone!
Blowing out the candles - take notice that Lucy isn't going to miss any of the action!
I think Harper liked cake. . .
The party theme was Yo Gabba Gabba and they had these cute little buckets made to look like each character on the table. . . well, I'm not one to miss a photo opportunity. . .
Three out of four - Lucy didn't want a bucket on her head.
The bucket also kept Charlie from scratching his head for a while - he kept reaching up and scratching the bucket!
Cousins at play
Happy first birthday, Harper!! We had such a good time at your party and can't wait to see you again soon!!!
And just because - isn't he just the cutest!!??
Or maybe this one is the cutest. . . .
And don't forget about this one!!
Who am I kidding? I have the three cutest kids on earth!! :)
(And no, I'm not biased at all!!)
