Life at our house

Around here, we've settled into somewhat of a routine. Lucy is really enjoying school and has started taking a ballet/tap class. The boys are going to toddler reading time at the library on Wednesdays and have a Kindermusik class on Fridays. Its been good for them to get out and interact with some other kids their age. We've tried to take advantage of the nice weather lately to get out and play in the yard as much as possible. Grammy and Poppa found a little playset for the kids and they've had a great time with it.

I snapped this picture the other day. The boys were wearing their matching Minions shirts (Minions are a bit of an obsession for them right now.) and had kicked off their pants. (Another obsession of theirs right now.) They were laying their on a blanket, drawing on their magna doodles and talking to each other. It was just so sweet! It was one of those moments when you realize just how special it is to be a twin and I am so thankful for my two sweet boys and that they have each other.

We got a special cupcake treat after school today. Lucy chose a cookies and cream cupcake and the boys got vegan chocolate ones. Lucy has mastered eating a cupcake without making a mess . . . the boys have a long way to go though! ;)

  1. Lovely update - am a regular follower popping in from over here in New Zealand! Do your boys have a dairy allergy? Would love to get some recipes on yummy dairy free snacks for little ones if you were interested in doing a blog on that! How is Lucy enjoying her dance class? Am still undecided on whether to put mine in a structured or fun class, is Lucy's a "big girl" class or more of an enjoyment class?
Hope all is well in your world!
