A Paw Patrol 4th Birthday Party

The boys wanted a Paw Patrol birthday party this year. We invited some of their friends and had a great time.

We started with "Pin the Badge on Chase." Don't let Alex fool you . . . he was peeking! ;)

Our next game was our pinata. The boys couldn't wait! They had been so excited to stuff the pinata and were ready for everything to fall out.

Uncle Joe made balloon animals for everyone . . . dogs, bunnies, giraffes, swords, hats . . . you name it, he made it!

Aunt Lauren did face painting as well. We had puppy dog paws, butterflies, puppies, and lots more.

We had to take a break and stop to look at the pouring down rain!

Pappy and Poppa had fun with balloon hats too!

After all that fun, we had dinner - "pup"corn, "Paw-Tato" chips, Fetch sticks (pretzel rods), Chew toys (Twizzlers), Kibble (Cocoa Puffs and Kix), fruit, veggies and Chickfila nuggets.

After dinner, it was time for presents!!

Then  it was time for cake and cupcakes! We put our four candles on the cupcakes and sang.

It was only quiet for a few minutes and then the sugar kicked in. These kids ran and screamed and had all kinds of fun! It was LOUD!!!

The good thing about all that craziness is that we were TIRED when we got home! I think the boys had a fun time at their party!

Flack Family Photos

For Gramma's Mother's Day present, we decided to have family photos taken. Sweet Rosa broke her leg though, so we waited until she was cast-free! It was a hot day but it was lots of fun. We bribed the kids with Smarties in order to get them to smile . . .whatever works, right! (All of the following pictures are courtesy of the amazing Heather Wiles at Forget Me Not Photography - we LOVE everything she does for us!!!)

4th of July Fun . . . only a month late!

On the fourth of July, we went over to spend the day with Gramma and Pappy and the cousins! The kids were so excited to have pool time together.

Alex is "roaring" at Harper here. . .

Such silly boys!!!

After swimming, they had lots of bubble fun!

Uncle Joe always comes up with great ways to keep everyone entertained!

We had hoped to watch fireworks at Gramma's house, but the paper said the fireworks weren't going to be until 9:45 PM! So we drove back into Lewisville and after seeing all the excitement, we walked up to the circle from our house. The kids really enjoyed watching the fireworks and had a good time, staying up late!

The next evening, Lucy was excited to finally use her ice cream maker that she got from Mama Mae for her birthday. The boys were excited to watch! (Shirtless, apparently  .. . .)

She chose to make raspberry and vanilla, but it all mixed together. She said it was good though! :)
