The boys had their 4 year old check up a few weeks ago and with that appointment comes several vaccinations. We were trying to explain to the kids why vaccinations were important and necessary - as you can see from the video, Lucy was clearly listening!! ;)

Day 7
The other afternoon when we were up at church, Charlie and Alex wanted to see if they could fit in the toy baby stroller. They had fun pushing each other around.

Day 5 ( a day late)
Sorry I'm behind . . . but this happened!!
Lucy fell on the playground at school yesterday and broke her arm right above the elbow. She is now the proud owner of a Carolina Blue cast. She'll have to wear it for the next 4 weeks or so. She was such a trooper through the doctors visit, xrays, and casting. She stayed home from school today to get some rest, but I think she'll be back and ready to go tomorrow. She's still figuring out how to do things one handed right now, but I don't think it will take her long to have that down. She is in a production of Sleeping Beauty this week - what a week to break your arm! Of course, a little thing like a broken arm isn't going to slow her down!!

Day 4
At Christmas time, we love to read Christmas books. Every night we unwrap a book from under the tree (Some are brand new, some are favorites!) and read together. The kids also like to read and reread these Christmas stories over and over again. While I was making dinner the other night, I heard Lucy reading to the boys. They spent about 30 minutes just sitting there, reading books together - it was so sweet! :)

Day 3
We attempted to have some Christmas pictures taken. Usually, I love all the photos we get from Forget Me Not Photography . . . but I don't plan on using any of these this year. We had to deal with some crazy winds and bright sunshine. So here's what we got. You can see them here because you won't be seeing them on our Christmas card this year!

Day 2
Last Sunday, we had our Hanging of the Greens program at Union UMC. The children all spoke and sang and played bells and after the adults portion of the play, Santa came! Everyone was excited to see Santa!!
Here is a video of the boys doing their little speaking part. I wish I could upload the rest of them, but the files are too big!!!
Even the big kids!!!!

25 days of Christmas photos - Day 1
It's my Mom's favorite time of the year!!! :) For the next 25 days, we'll have new pictures celebrating all our fun Christmas traditions. So for today . . . here are our pictures by the tree in our Christmas PJ's. The boys were ready for all the Christmas stuff to come out as soon as we sat down to Thanksgiving dinner. I thought I would get a little out and work slowly, but they were so insistent that EVERYTHING got put out last weekend. So enjoy our kickoff to the Christmas season!! :)
Being silly!!
Sometimes they are just so stinkin' cute!!!!
We got one with Mrs. Claus too. . . I snapped more of these, but by this time, the silliness was starting to get a little out of hand!
As you can see here . . . .
