December 10th

Four months old today!!!

Pictures with Lucy just get harder and harder. . . this was the best we could do!

The boys had their four month check up two weeks ago. Our pediatrician likes to start immunizations at 6 weeks old, so we are slightly ahead of schedule. At their appointment, Charlie weighed in at 11 lbs, 9 oz, 24 inches long and his head was 15 1/2 inches. Charlie is a happy baby. . .except when he is hungry or tired. And then, watch out!! Charlie also loves attention. He is a big flirt with the ladies and has this grin that just melts your heart. He's doing a great job with head control but hates to be down on his stomach. . he would much rather be sitting up in the bumbo or on someone's lap so that he can see what's going on around him. He has dry skin issues just like his big sister and has quite a case of cradle cap, but otherwise, he is as healthy as can be.

Alex is a little more laid back than Charlie, but if he needs/wants something he isn't afraid to let you know! His stats from the 4 month appointment were 11 lbs, 8 oz, 23 1/2 inches and his head was 15 inches. He is also a happy boy, except for when he is hungry/tired. He is also doing well with his head control and has started rolling from his back to his belly and then back again. He is such a sweet boy and gives the best snuggles! :)

Both boys are sleeping from their 8 PM feeding until about 3 or 3:30. Unfortunately, sometimes it's earlier and it's never later than that. They will go back to sleep easily though after that feeding until about 7, so that's a good thing. We still wake the other one up when one wakes up to eat (so that we don't have to get up multiple times) so they might have nights where they would sleep longer. Hopefully we will be able to drop that 3 AM feeding soon!!

Three crazy kids ;)

I thought the antlers and Santa hat would make a cute photo,
but I guess that was a little too much excitement. ;)

That's a lot of antlers!

Cute boys!

And we're done. . . .
