December 19th (A day late)

Sorry that this post is a day late. . . .I got home late last night from an Amy Grant/Michael W. Smith Christmas concert and just didn't have the energy to open the computer! So here's a recap of yesterday:

The boys and I got up and ran a few errands before heading to church for the birthday party for Jesus. The kids did crafts, played games and then dressed up and acted out the story of the nativity. Here's Alex dressed as a shepherd:

Everyone came in their costume and gathered around the baby Jesus.

The boys were, of course, in love with the giant stuffed sheep!

Mrs. Helen made the cutest lunch for the kids!!

After lunch, we lit the candles and sang Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus!

And of course, the best part - the cupcakes!!!

Lucy wasn't at the birthday party because she was with Grammy at the Nutcracker. The High Point Ballet had a performance just for kids where they had a chance to meet the different characters and then see a shortened version of the show. Lucy enjoyed meeting the different dancers and getting their autographs.

Lucy also got to see her friend, Claire, while she was there!!
