December 1st

It's the most wonderful time of the year . . . that's right, it's the 25 days of photos for Christmas! :) At least during this month, I will remember to update the blog on a regular basis! Ever since Thanksgiving, we have been in full Christmas mode in our house - I don't know if my little guys are going to be able to wait the whole month for Santa to arrive! They are SO excited!!! We'll kick off the season with photos from our Sunday evening event at church. All the children come out and say a little Christmas poem followed by a little worship service led by the adults. Then Santa comes for a visit. This year, they wanted Charlie and Alex to participate. I was a little hesitant, but figured it would just be easier to agree and see what happened.

We had dinner first and of course, the kids finished eating before everyone else. So we played a little bit to occupy ourselves until it was time for the program to start.

Isn't she just so beautiful!? (On a side note, Lucy also wore this dress to school on Monday and was so excited that a SECOND GRADER stopped her in the hall and told her that she liked her dress!)

The boys weren't so into getting a group picture by the tree...

We ran around and played in the foyer for a while.

Finally, it was time for everyone to get lined up to perform.

The boys came out together and they were supposed to say, "Merry Christmas Everybody!"

But here's what actually happened . . .

Lucy also came out and did her part. She, of course, knew exactly what she was doing! :)

Once the program was over, Santa came out. The boys eyes got so big and they got so still and they were just in awe.

The kids and Jessie, one of their favorite people in the world! :)

Everyone also got to sit on Santa's lap and tell them what they wanted. All the boys want is a school bus, animals, and candy!

Daddy even got to sit on Santa's lap!

The boys sitting with Mrs. Renee, their other favorite person at church!
